Cross-Cultural Understanding
We believe the arts can create meaningful connections across cultures, communities, and lived experiences.

About
Margolis Arts Foundation is a Seattle-based nonprofit arts organization founded in 2026 to support cross-cultural understanding through visual art, dance, and community education.
Why We Started
We formed the organization to create a mission-driven home for arts programming that is educational, community-centered, and designed for long-term public benefit.
The foundation builds on years of arts activity, including exhibitions, public cultural events, dance programming, and the O-Jak Bridge Art and Dance Festival.
Our Approach
We saw a need for a more connected and accessible model for multidisciplinary arts programming, one that brings together visual art, dance, performance, and cultural dialogue rather than treating them as separate worlds.
Our work is grounded in cross-cultural exchange, representation, access, and community participation. We aim to support artists and audiences whose experiences are not always centered in traditional arts institutions.
Our Values
We believe the arts can create meaningful connections across cultures, communities, and lived experiences.
We seek to provide artists with thoughtful presentation, collaborative support, and opportunities to share their work with public audiences.
We aim to make arts experiences approachable, educational, and available to broader communities.
Our programs are designed to serve artists, students, audiences, and the broader public.
We value programming that invites people not only to observe art, but to participate, learn, ask questions, and build connection.
